TBCCI Istanbul Forum, a business networking platform where business opportunities and methods are discussed between the UK and Turkey, was held for the 10th time for this year and was organized at Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus on September 4th, 2019 with the attendance of our Minister of Commerce, RUHSAR PEKCAN.

Turkish-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TBCCI) Chairman Alderman Emma Edhem, speaking at the opening of the forum, stated that the Turkey-UK Chamber of Commerce and Industry would celebrate the 40th anniversary next year, and said they are honoured to have the privilege of developing bilateral business relations between Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Referring to the Brexit process, Mrs Pekcan said: "If there is a deal Brexit, there will no problem, but if there is a no-deal Brexit, there will be developments that will affect the trade volume of the two countries and leave the business world in a difficult situation. But let's not forget that countries with strong backgrounds, such as Britain and Turkey, have become great countries because they can turn challenges into opportunities and success wherever the political and political-economic conditions in the world go. That's what we expect from you, and we support you."

Our chairman of the board of directors Pınar SARAÇOĞLU shared with our Minister Ruhsar PEKCAN the problems faced by public institutions in cooperation with domestic software companies, and we had a chance to discuss our innovative technologies and government support.

We would like to thank TBBCI for the event they have organized.
